Return & Exchange Policy:

HeatPressPlanet.com offer a 30 days return policy from the date of purchase.  All item(s) must be returned in new, resalable  condition and has not been used. The item must be returned in its original packaging. A 15% restocking fee will be applied other than confirmed defective merchandise. To make a return, you must notify us via support@HeatPressPlanet.com or phone for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). A RMA number must be put on the outside of returned item’s box. If an item is sent back without an approved RMA number on the box, the return may not be processed and the customer would be responsible for any shipping costs to have the item returned to them. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified by HeatPressPlanet.com. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur when your return is in transit back to our facility. Additional restocking fees may apply for damages that result from improper shipping.

Warranty:

All merchandise comes with a minimum 1 year parts and services warranty. Warranty service is at our Southern California location. Warranty does not cover the shipping cost incurred.  If you have any problems with a product, please notify us via support@HeatPressPlanet.com. If there is a problem with a part on the product, the defect part can be sent to you via FedEx free of charge.  Warranty is voided  if equipment has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, unauthorized and/or improper service, or other causes not arising out of defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear or lack of proper maintenance.

We are in no way offers consequential or accepts any liability for damages caused by products sold. Some items may be dangerous, and by purchasing the item, buyer is accepting any risk caused by the product whether the items is correctly represented or not.

Shipping and handling:

HeatPressPlanet.com uses FedEx Ground as its primary carrier unless otherwise specified. Orders ship Monday-Friday excluding holidays. Orders will typically ship the following business day. If you need products faster, please contact us by phone 1-855-369-2279 and we will try our best to fulfill your request. We cannot accept liability for the failure of any carrier to fulfill a promised delivery time.

All orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are shipped by USPS Parcel Select. Orders shipped to Canada  are shipped by UPS Ground. Shipping rates are subjected to change and a new order total will be confirmed with you. We are not responsible for any import duties or other taxes. All orders will be given a tracking number upon shipping.

Payment

We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We will only ship orders to PayPal confirmed address. If the shipping address does not match, you will receive an email from us indicating that we cannot process your order and until you’ve contacted us. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order at our sole discretion. We are not responsible for pricing errors, typographical and other like errors and reserve the right to cancel any orders resulting from such errors.

General questions

I want to make custom T shirt. What do I need?
There are many ways to print custom T shirts. (silk screen, iron on, vinyl, airbrush, direct printing, sublimation….) Each method all has its pros and cons. The most popular and inexpensive transfer is with inkjet printed light color iron on transfer. The cost is less than 75 cents. (excluding T shirt).

I am new to T shirt transfer. What hardware do I need?
A computer, inkjet color printer, transfer paper, and a heat press machine.

What are the consumables for T shirt printing?
Transfer papers and T shirts. T shirt is about $1.75 to $3.50 each. White color T shirt is less expensive. Dark color T shirts cost more. Transfer paper runs about $.60 to $1 each.

Are your transfer paper good?
Our customers has given very good review about our light and dark color transfer paper. Our papers are commercial grade quality.

Are you a reputable store to buy from?
Our store is located near Los Angeles. We have many repeat customers buying supplies and consumable.

If my machine needs service, do I have to send it to the manufacturer to get it repaired?
No, we have spare parts and repair ability onsite. We will honor the warranty services in Los Angeles.

Who makes your heat presses?
Our presses are made in oversea. That is where the similarity stop. They are being manufactured by an OEM factory that also manufacture some of the name brand presses in United States. It is very well built, durable and strong machine. We use quality internal electrical components to ensure the reliability and longevity of the machines.

Can I pick up and what is your phone number?
Our store is located in El Monte, CA. Please give us a proper notice if you’re coming by. You can email sales@heatpressplanet.com or call us 1-855-369-2279 and we will answer your emails or phone calls promptly. Please leave your phone number so we can contact you regarding pick up times or any questions that you may have.

What is sublimation printing?
In simple term, it means vaporizing an image printed on a transfer paper with special type of ink onto T shirt or tile or mug.

Do you stock spare parts?
We stock most of the spare parts for the presses.

What type of substrate does sublimation ink go on?
Sublimation ink can only vaporized and absorbed by substrate that is polyester based or treated with polyester polymer. For example, normal 100% cotton shirt will not work. 100% polyester T shirt will work. (Hanes, Softlink, Vapors Apparel).

I want to do sublimation mug press. Can a normal coffee mug work.
No, only coated sublimation mug will work.

What about the inkjet printed transfers or sublimation transfers?
Inkjet transfer paper are made by mill. Their quality and release characteristics are much more consistent. Any of our machine will have no problem with inkjet or sublimation transfers.

How about vinyl lettering transfer and rhinestone transfers?
Any of our heat press will have no problem with vinyl lettering and rhinestone transfer.
